Alabama Business Entities

Aside from individuals being able to hold title to real property in Alabama, business entities can own real estate as well.

The county probate office is the office of record for recording documents for the various types of business entities that can hold title to real estate in Alabama. Most of the guidelines for setting up the various entities are found in Section 10 of the Alabama Code.
