Verklin, a veteran advertising executive, has been named to its Board of
Directors. Verklin is the CEO of Canoe Ventures, LLC, a joint venture
founded in 2008 by the country’s leading cable operators. The company
focuses on enabling advanced advertising technologies and making them
easier to buy, use and measure. Prior to Canoe Ventures, Verklin was the
CEO of Aegis Media Americas. He was recently named to Mediaweek’s
Watch List 2009 and has been recognized as one of the industry’s most
influential people on the CableFAX 100. He was also
inducted into the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame in 2009.
